Our Athletic Trainers.
The Cedar Park High School Athletic Trainers are David Bowman and Stefany Austin. Coach Bowman and Coach Austin's office is located in the field house. Their normal office hours are 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; however, they are out most periods working with athletes. The best way to reach them is to call and leave a message or e-mail.

Morning: 6:30-8:15 (arrive no later than 7:45)

All athletes are encouraged to receive treatment as often as possible (before/after school, during athletic period), without hindering academics.

Coach Bowman is in his 36th year as an Athletic Trainer, his 28th here at CPHS (yes, he helped Noah when he sprained his ankle on the Ark). He has had a hand in helping ALL 11 STATE CHAMPION TEAMS that CPHS has had.
Before opening Cedar Park High School, he was in Kingsville ISD for 5 years, and an assistant trainer at Texas A&I University (currently Texas A&M Kingsville), where he is a graduate from. Coach Bowman's twins, Charles and William, were 2017 graduates of CPHS before going on to play golf at York College in Nebraska where they graduated from. His daughter, Kabrina, is a junior at Oklahoma State where she is a student trainer for the football team and his wife Linda, is a one of the athletic trainers at another LISD high school.
Coach Austin is in her 14th year as an Athletic Trainer, 11th year at Cedar Park. While at CPHS, she has helped several teams reach state championships including Football 2015, Girls Basketball 2018 and 2019, Girls Swim 2019, Girls Soccer 2025 and Volleyball 2025, along with several state runner up teams, and deep play-off runs for other teams. Before coming to Cedar Park she was the head athletic trainer at Burnet High School for 3 years. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University, were she was a student athletic trainer for the football, softball, volleyball, track and cross country teams.
